Report:  In one word.  AWESOME!  Weather was not the best but the fishing was outstanding again.  We had a great trip even if it included the 2 senior citizens who spent 50% of their time feeding the ground pigs and crows.  Thanks Larry, Mary, and Shane for a great show!!

Lake: Meen
Dates: 5/20-5/25/2012
Group: Bufton
Report: Arrived Sunday May 20. Immediatly caught walleyes right in front of the cabin. A nice ledge is there. Went exploring, caught alot of walleye at various spots through out the lake. Monday we went to the portage lake on the east end of the main lake. A small stream runs between them, a very easy portage. Found multiple spots where the jig would not hit the bottom without being hit. We caught well over 100 that afternoon. We went back to the portage lake numerous times and caught 100's of walleyes. They bit on everything from live bait (leeches or minnows) to rapala's.  Largest walleye for the trip 26 inches.  The cabin on Meen Lake is fantastic. It was recently redone and has the bright lights, cold electric refrigerator, excellent shower with generator/solar power (Generator can barely hear it run, not loud at all). From the beds to the boats you couldnt find a better outpost.  Cadillac of bush cabins.  Looking forward to our next trip with L & M.
