I wasn't very creative on this years fish report.....could you add an addendum for me.."The L-M conservation strategy is really paying off. We have noticed improvement every year in the size and quality of the fish. We use artificial bait and barbless hooks exclusively and feel good about leaving healthy big ones for years to come. What a treat to come to such a special place."

Lake: Otatakan
Dates: 6/14-6/21/2010
Group: Benjamin
Report: The fishing was the best we've ever had in Canada and all our trips. We caught all we could eat each day in the mornings first thing. The northern were hitting better than at Fishtrap (spent the week prior at Fishtrap), but not too much action in the weed beds or lilly pads as we hoped. The facilities at Otatakan are super great. The lake has calm water to fish even on windy weather days. The water was up considerably from our last years trip to Otatakan and covered numerous areas that before were exposed and easy to see. Great fishing, great accomindation, and Great service. Good time had by ALL!!

Report: Fishing was fantastic. Walleyes phenominal. Larry and Mary are great people and a special thanks to Shane for everything. We are already planning our trip with L & M next year. From Joe, Milt, Nick, and Brent.
Good Morning, I wanted to say thank you again for making our trip a great one. I read our blog post and wanted to know if you could add onto it? I'd like to add that we caught 4 walleyes over 24 inches and the rest avg between 16-21 inches. We caught so many walleyes that by the start of the 3rd day we were trophy hunting! Northern were plentiful with many over 30 inches and our biggest was at 36 inches and many, many, many southmouth's avg 13-15 inches. With the biggest being 17 1/2 inches. Id also like on our blog post to say that L & M services were 2nd to none and I would recommend your outpost to anyone! I already have a group of 6 wanting to come next year.
We all wish you a very successful season
